Click on Orientation and choose Landscape. As soon as you have your document open, tap the A icon from the menu bar. The key one being that if you use a cover page with a unique header/footer, every time you change page orientation within the document, word will treat the change in orientation as a "Next Page" break and the page will have the header/footer from the cover page (0) yet because of the orientation change, the header/footer are misformatted.
